Primary Health Care Program
Maari Ma Primary Health Care Program provides a quality service to the Aboriginal people of far western NSW. We have been providing health care for almost 20 years and currently more than 70 people work at the Service in Broken Hill and elsewhere across the region.
Maari Ma Balranald
Maari Ma Health Balranald aims to provide services to assist Aboriginal people and their families to achieve improved health outcomes within the community. Our team consists of Registered Nurses, Social and Emotional Wellbeing worker, Administration staff and outreach services from varying health professionals.
Marrabinya
Aboriginal people with a chronic disease can be referred to Marrabinya by their GP for assistance with specialist appointments, transport, accommodation, and medical aids.
Community Programs
Maari Ma provides a range of social and community programs designed to support the Aboriginal communities of far western NSW. We focus on cultural activities, sport, healthy eating and youth activities.
Community Support
The Indigenous Community Links (ICL) Service is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families. ICL staff at the regional office in Broken Hill can link you to appropriate information and people who can help you in a range of different ways. Maari Ma also supports our communities through transport, supporting leadership, and activities and programs that support social inclusion for families and child development and well-being.
